Ambassador of Belarus Andrei Metelitsa attends events marking Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War

On May 7, 2026, H.E. Mr. Andrei Metelitsa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, attended commemorative events dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, held at the invitation of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Pakistan.

The event was attended by Ambassadors of the CIS member states, representatives of Pakistani government authorities, business circles, the media, academia, as well as members of the Russian and Belarusian diasporas in Pakistan.

The guests joined the “Immortal Regiment” march, carrying portraits of their relatives who fought in the war. The program also included a festive concert and a thematic photo exhibition.
