Belarusian-Pakistani interministerial consultations on consular issues

On February 25, 2025 the first Belarusian-Pakistani consultations on consular issues were held in Islamabad.

The head of the Belarusian delegation, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, discussed with the First Deputy Minister of Interior of Pakistan, Muhammad Khurram Agha, the Deputy Minister of Interior of Pakistan, Salman Choudhry, and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan a wide range of issues related to consular cooperation, education, migration policy of the two countries, bilateral legal framework in this area, as well as in the field of combating crime.

The consultations were further confirmation of the close cooperation between Belarus and Pakistan in various areas of mutual interest.
