On the participation of the Embassy in events dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War

on May 9, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Andrei Metelitsa, together with Embassy staff, took part in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War at the invitation of the Russian Embassy in Pakistan.

In the beginning, the Ambassadors of the CIS countries planted trees on the territory of the Russian Embassy in Pakistan.

Then all the guests took part in the Immortal Regiment march with photo portraits of relatives who participated in the war.

The concert program included performances by the ambassadors of Russia, Belarus and other CIS countries, as well as a demonstration of videos about the contribution of the participating countries to the Victory.

Representatives of the Belarusian diaspora living in Pakistan also took part in the festive events on May 9.
