Negotiations between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan

On May 21, 2024 on the margins of the SCO Ministerial Council meeting in Astana, the Foreign Minister, Sergei Aleinik, negotiated with the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

The parties discussed at length the development of Belarusian-Pakistani political, trade and economic cooperation. In this regard, special attention was paid to specifying and agreeing on a number of joint activities at various levels planned for the current year.

The interlocutors also discussed the expansion of cooperation in international organisations, and agreed to strengthen coordination and continue mutual support.
