On the meeting in Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation

On December 5, 2018  Ambassador of Belarus to Pakistan, H.E. Mr.Andrei Yermolovich, met with the Managing Director of the main Pakistani news agency Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation Mr.Muhammad Qamar Ullah.

During the meeting, the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BelTA) and the Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation, signed on May 29, 2015  during the first official visit to Pakistan by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko was discussed.

The parties noted the importance of ensuring the regular exchange of operational and reliable information materials on current events in the domestic and international life of both countries in the context of increasing dynamics of bilateral contacts.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on holding a photo exhibition “Belarus Today, Achievements of a Young Independent State” in Pakistan in the first half of 2019 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Pakistan.
