Ambassador of Belarus A.Metelitsa took part in the conference “Remembering Ambassador Sarvar Azimov: Diplomacy and Soviet-Pakistan Relations, 1974 – 1980”

On March 30, 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Andrei Metelitsa took part in the conference “Remembering Ambassador Sarvar Azimov: Diplomacy and Soviet-Pakistan Relations, 1974 – 1980” held at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad.

In his speech, the Ambassador noted the contribution that Ambassador Sarvar Azimov made to the development of relations between the two countries in 1975 – 1980, including increasing the supply of MTZ tractors to the Pakistani market and other economic projects that remain relevant today.
