The meetings of the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus on the sidelines of the 7th JMC in Pakistan

On September 25, 2024, on the sidelines of the 7th meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Pakistani Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Lukashevich met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Shafkat Ali Khan.

The interlocutors highly appreciated the results of the inter-ministerial consultations held in July 2024. Special attention was paid to the preparation of planned events at the highest level, issues of strengthening the legal framework.

Sergey Lukashevich also took part in meetings with the Minister of National Food Security (Minister of Industry and Production) of Pakistan Rana Tanveer Hussain. Issues of certification and mutual trade in agricultural products, prospects for joint engineering and other topics of mutual interest were discussed.
