On the 8th Session of the Intergovernmental Commission

On February 10-11, 2025, the 8th Session of the Joint Belarusian-Pakistani Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in Minsk.

The Pakistani delegation was headed by the Federal Minister of Commerce of Pakistan, Jam Kamal Khan, and the Belarusian Side was co-chaired by the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Belarus, Aliaksei Kushnarenka.

During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including opportunities to strengthen economic, trade, scientific, technical, educational and other ties between the two countries.

On the sidelines of the commission, members of the Pakistani delegation held meetings with Belarusian officials, including First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lukashevich and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Vadim Shagoiko.

During these meetings, issues related to the further development of Belarusian-Pakistani relations in various fields and the implementation of agreements reached by the leaders of Belarus and Pakistan were discussed.
