Ambassador Andrei Metelitsa visited Karachi

June 21-23, 2022 Ambassador Andrei Metelitsa visited Karachi – the main financial and trade center of Pakistan, the capital of Sindh province.
During his stay in Karachi, the Head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission held a series of meetings aimed at strengthening economic cooperation with the Pakistani province.
The main topic of negotiations with the leadership of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry and private business-circles was cooperation in the spheres of industry and agriculture, including the features for increase in Belarusian products supply to Sindh as well as create joint assembly plant.
In the context of intensifying intersectoral cooperation between the two countries, the Ambassador met with the leadership and members of the All Pakistan Paper Manufacturers Association, during which Sides agreed to hold a B2B online event in the near future to increase the supply of Belarusian pulp and paper goods to Pakistan.
At the visit to Karachi, the Head of the Belarusian Mission had an appointment with the President of Ecommerce Gateway of Pakistan Ltd., the Sides discussed bilateral activities for 2023 year.
