Ambassador of Belarus participated in Belarus-Pakistan Business Council

On April 12, 2021 the fourth virtual meeting of the Belarusian-Pakistani Business Council was held in the format of a videoconference. B2B event was jointly organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry with assistance from the Belarusian Diplomatic Mission in Pakistan.


Business Council was attended by the Minister of Energy of Belarus, Ambassadors of Belarus and Pakistan, the leadership of the chambers of commerce and industry and Belarusian enterprises, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Trade Development Authority, Board of Investment of Pakistan, Honorary Consul of Belarus in Lahore Walid Mushtaq and business circles of two countries.

During the videoconference participants discussed topical issues of cooperation between the Sides in trade and economic sphere, including actions aimed at increasing the volume of bilateral trade and its efficiency, as well as facilitation mechanisms through Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Belarus and Pakistan in searching business partners.

In his welcoming speech Ambassador of Belarus to Pakistan Andrei Metelitsa outlined promising areas of bilateral cooperation in the economic sphere.
