Islamabad hosted Second Meeting of Joint Working Group on Agriculture with Belarus

On March 17-18, 2016 the Second Meeting of Joint Working Group between Belarus and Islamabad has been held in Islamabad.
The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Ihar Brylo, the Pakistani delegation – by the Additional Secretary, Ministry of National Food Security and Research, Muhammad Hashim Popalzai. Ambassador of Belarus to Pakistan Andrei Ermolovich also attended the meeting.
On the sidelines of the event the Belarusian Side organized an exhibition and tasting of milk and halal meat products made in Belarus, which have been highly appreciated by the Pakistani Side.
During working visit to Islamabad the Belarusian delegation held negotiations with the Minister of National Food Security and Research of Pakistan Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan, top management of research agencies and companies in the field of agriculture.
Meeting was followed by signing the protocol which opens negotiating platform for creation of joint ventures to produce dairy products in Pakistan using raw materials imported from Belarus.
