President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the President of Pakistan on Pakistan Day

On March 23, 2024, the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on behalf of the Belarusian people and on his own behalf, has congratulated President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on the occasion of the National day – Pakistan Day.

Alexander Lukashenko noted that this historic day has become a defining one for the Pakistani nation on the path to Independence. Pakistan is a powerful, prosperous State that is developing dynamically looking confidently into the future.

«It is pleasant to note that truly warm and fraternal relations have developed between Minsk and Islamabad — mutual interest in deepening bilateral cooperation in various fields is growing, trade is expanding and business ties are being successfully established», — Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.

«I take this festive opportunity to confirm the high interest of Belarus in intensifying multilateral contacts with Pakistan. I am confident that the high-level visit to Islamabad planned for current year will help take our partnership to a qualitatively new level», the congratulatory message to Asif Ali Zardari reads.
