President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Pakistan Day

On March 23, 2024, the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on behalf of the Belarusian people and on his own behalf, has congratulated Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif on the occasion of the National day – Pakistan Day.

«Belarus is well aware of the special importance of this date for the Pakistani people, which has become a starting point for establishing the foundations of a sovereign and independent state», – the Head of State said.

In his message to Shahbaz Sharif, the Belarusian Head of State emphasized that the traditional friendship, mutual respect and trust between our countries are a reliable basis for further deepening bilateral political contacts, strengthening the positive dynamics of trade and economic cooperation and expanding humanitarian ties.

«I hope that the high-level visit to Pakistan this year in accordance with the agreements will give an additional impetus to the development of a fruitful Belarusian-Pakistani dialogue», the President of Belarus said.
